Dallas, Texas (June 8, 2026) – The Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center (NAEC) is proud to announce that our Director of Education, Dr. Jennifer Stimpson, has been named a finalist in the 2026 D CEO Leadership Excellence Awards for Community Impact Leader of the Year.

Presented by D CEO magazine, the inaugural Leadership Excellence Awards recognize North Texas executives who lead with purpose, build inclusive cultures, make ethical decisions, and create meaningful, lasting change in their communities. With more than 400 nominations from across the region, being named a finalist is a significant honor. Dr. Stimpson is one of only six leaders selected in the Community Impact category.

For those who have worked with Dr. Stimpson, this recognition feels especially meaningful. A nationally respected scientist, educator, and passionate advocate for STEM education, she has dedicated her career to helping learners discover the power of curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. At the NAEC, she leads educational programs that bring aviation history to life through hands-on STEM experiences, leadership development, and workforce readiness, giving students the tools and confidence to imagine bold futures for themselves.

Dr. Stimpson’s distinguished career reflects both excellence and heart. She has been named an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator and has earned recognition from the Smithsonian Institution for her contributions to science education. Yet beyond her many accomplishments, she is perhaps best known for her deep commitment to students, educators, and families across North Texas.
