EAA Girls On The Fly 2026
Curious about aviation as a hobby or career? Experience the wonders of aviation. This one-day event will introduce you to the joys of flight, provide hands-on experiences with fabrication and/or avionics, and inspire you to explore the many facets of aviation.
Planned activities may include:
Hearing from girls and women who love aviation.
Experiencing flight through Young Eagles flights (weather permitting).
Practicing basic flight maneuvers on our flight simulators.
Learning about the physics of flight while building your own RC airplane.
Building coding skills by programming our robots to meet a series of challenges.
Viewing the airport from the air traffic control tower and talking to controllers about their careers.
Girls on the Fly is free and open to all girls who will be 13-18 years old on the day of the event.
