Program Information

Students from upper elementary through high school can participate in fabrication activities geared towards each age group. Within the CAF Fabrication Lab older students will learn mechanical comprehension skills, safety practices, and build community service projects. Younger students can learn mechanical comprehension while putting math (Algebra and Geometry) skills to use. Students will have projects, such as building a toolbox, table or stool that will involve using woodworking skills and math. The skills acquired in the Fabrication Lab include communication, confidence, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
