The Victor N. Agather STEM Innovation Hangar, named in honor of World War II veteran, Victor Agather, provides hands-on educational activities and is also a working hangar housing World War II aircraft. The aircraft that reside within the hangar serve as “living and breathing” examples of STEM principles taught at the NAEC, demonstrating how problem-solving skills used during World War II helped win the War - inspiring visitors of all ages to develop critical skills that can be applied to their lives today. The hangar is the home of the B-29 Superfortress, “FIFI”, the same model of aircraft that Victor Agather helped develop during WWII.

The hangar space can also serve as a venue for special events.
